The short version
KoreanSizes is a static website with no accounts, sign-up, comments or contact form. The converters run in your browser; we do not send the measurements you enter as analytics events. If analytics is enabled, you can allow or decline it.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted on Vercel, with DNS managed by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect against abuse, hosting and network providers may process technical request information such as IP address, browser type, requested URL and request time under their own privacy policies.
Optional visit analytics
When enabled, Google Analytics helps us understand visits, pages viewed and how people reach the site. The Google tag is loaded only if you allow analytics; Google may use cookies and process device and visit information as described in its privacy policy. Our page-view configuration sends the page path, referring site and standard UTM campaign parameters from the address, but excludes other address parameters. We do not send the size measurements entered in our converters as analytics events.
You can allow or decline analytics and change your choice at any time using Analytics preferences in the footer when analytics is enabled. Your browser stores that choice locally. Declining stops the analytics tag on later page loads and removes the site’s accessible Analytics cookies. The converters still work if you decline.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
We intend to display Google AdSense advertisements to keep the site free. Once ads are live, Google and third-party vendors use cookies to serve them. This includes the DoubleClick (DART) cookie, which lets Google show ads based on your prior visits to this website and to other websites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google's Ads Settings, and opt out of many third-party vendors' personalised ads at www.aboutads.info. Other third-party vendors and ad networks may also place their own cookies.
No ad code is live today. When the site is approved and ads start, this policy will be updated and the effective date changed.
Your browser settings
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. The converters and tables work normally with cookies disabled. Your language and theme choices are stored locally in your browser.
Links to other sites
This site may link to other websites. Their privacy practices are their own, and this policy does not cover them.
Children
KoreanSizes is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy from time to time; any change will appear on this page with a new effective date. Questions about privacy can be sent by e-mail via the Contact page. If you e-mail us, your address and message are kept in our mailbox only as long as needed to reply and fix any error you report, and they are not shared with anyone else.
